3D Product Visualization

The product doesn't exist yet.
The image does.

Photorealistic 3D renderings and animations for industry, marketing and e-commerce. References: Andritz, XAL, Pewag, Red Bull Spect.

what we do for you.

CAD data becomes images that sell. Technical drawings become animations that explain. Your product doesn't need to physically exist — it just needs to be understood.

photorealistic renderings.

Single images and product series in catalog quality. Cutouts, scene shots, technical views — ready for print and web.

3d animation & video.

Exploded views, functional videos, assembly instructions, trade fair videos. Animation is an integral part of our product visualization — not a separate add-on.

technical illustration.

Section views, x-ray views, detail shots. For technical documentation, training materials and sales presentations.

product series & variants.

Efficient workflows for product families. Red Bull Spect: 60+ goggles. XAL: 41 lighting renderings. Set it up once, reuse it many times.

Product cutouts for e-commerce.

Transparent background, any perspective, any resolution. Perfect for web shops, marketplaces and product configurators.

reusable 3d data.

3D models built once can later be reused for viewers, VR, AR and configurators. That saves costs in the long run.

selected work.

Some of our best projects we aren't allowed to show. Here are the ones we are.

Industries we work with.

industrial companies & mechanical engineering.

Make complex machines and plants understandable. For sales, trade fairs and technical documentation. References: Andritz, Pewag, P&P Industries.

product manufacturers & marketing.

Product images before the product exists. For catalogs, web shops, social media and trade fair appearances. References: Red Bull Spect (60+ goggles), XAL (41 images).

architecture suppliers.

Process

how a project runs.

01 / Briefing

CAD data, materials, intended use.

You send us CAD data (STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX, STL), material specifications and reference photos. We clarify perspectives, scenes and intended use — catalog, web shop, trade fair, animation.

02 / Preparation

From CAD to a 3D scene.

We prepare your model, set materials physically accurate and design lighting like in a studio. You'll receive a first draft for sign-off.

03 / Review

Two revision rounds, one result.

You give feedback on perspective, materials, details. Two revision rounds are included — we refine everything until it meets your expectations.

04 / Delivery

Print-ready, web-optimized, cutouts.

Final renderings in full resolution. JPEG, PNG, TIFF on request. Cutouts with transparent background, scene shots, print data — everything you need.

"Working with Philipp was excellent and I'd recommend it 100%. The process, the consulting, and the quality of the work are all first-class. You feel like you're in the best hands — you can tell he really knows his stuff. We're already looking forward to the next projects with threesixty!"

FAQ

Quick answers, straight talk.

What does threesixty.at need for a product visualization?

CAD data (STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX, STL), material specifications and reference photos. The better the data, the faster we deliver.

How long does a product visualization take?

A single rendering: 5–10 working days. Projects with multiple views: 2–4 weeks. Animations: 4–8 weeks.

What does a 3D product visualization cost?

Every project has a different scope — a single rendering is a different scale than a product series with animation. We're happy to talk it through and send you a no-obligation quote within 24 hours.

Do you also produce product animations?

Yes — from exploded views to functional videos to 3D assembly instructions. Animation is an integral part of our product visualization work.

Can we reuse the 3D data for other purposes?

Yes. The 3D models can be reused for viewers, VR, AR, configurators and print. That saves costs in the long run.

Which CAD formats can you process?

STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX, STL, SketchUp, Rhino, Blender — and many more. If you are unsure, just send us what you have.

How realistic are the renderings?

Photorealistic. Many of our clients use the images directly as product photos — for catalogs, web shops and trade fair appearances.

Can you also create cutouts for web shops?

Yes. We deliver renderings as cutouts with transparent background, in any required resolution and perspective.

What is the difference between rendering and animation?

A rendering is a single image. An animation is a sequence of images — in other words, a video. Both are based on the same 3D model.

Do you also work for companies outside of Austria?

Yes. CAD data and briefings work digitally. We work for clients in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

How does coordination work during ongoing projects?

Via email, video call or through our review tool. You receive interim versions for approval — typically two revision rounds are included in the project scope.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. For product series or recurring orders we offer package pricing. Just ask — we will find a way.

Can you also work without CAD data?

In principle, yes — we can model from photos, sketches or drawings. It takes longer, but it is feasible.

Do you work under NDA?

Of course. Many of our industrial clients work with sensitive data. We are discreet.
