360° Video

one place. every viewing direction.

360° video production for industry, recruiting, events and tourism. References: Bundesheer (Mission Vorwärts), ELT Friedberg, LKH Graz, Klanglicht.

what is a 360 video?

A 360 video is a film in which you can look in every direction — up, down, left, right. The flow is fixed like in a normal video, but you decide where to look.

The format is especially suited when motion and storytelling are central: a production process running through, an event unfolding, a workplace coming to life.

360 videos work in the browser, on YouTube, on your website and with VR headsets. With spatial audio the sound even turns along with the viewer's head.

360 video — immersive film production

where 360 video makes sense

360 video is not a gimmick — it is the right format when immersion makes the difference.

industry & production

Document manufacturing processes, show machines in action, make sites tangible for customers and partners.

recruiting & employer branding

Show potential employees what it really looks like to work with you. More authentic than any brochure.

events & culture

Concerts, festivals, exhibitions — 360 video captures the entire experience, not just a slice.

tourism & destinations

Hotels, regions, ski areas — let the guest experience the location before they book.

training & safety

Safety briefings, onboarding, training — 360 video makes processes graspable that text alone cannot convey.

military & special environments

Eurofighter cockpit, cleanroom, operating room — we have experience with sensitive and restricted environments.

Technical depth

what separates pro 360° from a smartphone clip.

Smartphone 360° sounds good, but for professional applications it is usually not enough. We produce by default in 5.7K–8K resolution per eye — so details stay sharp even when the viewer zooms into a specific area. Smartphone 360° often only delivers 4K, which after stitching and field-of-view crop leaves only about 1080p of effective resolution per viewing direction.

Spatial audio is the second difference: we record with ambisonics microphones so the sound is reproduced spatially correctly. The viewer turns to the left — the machine noise comes from the left. That is not a gimmick; it is what makes 360 video truly immersive in the first place.

On top of that comes clean stitching (no visible seam between lens sectors), professional exposure with HDR, tripod retouching (the tripod under the camera is made invisible) and color grading. Those are studio steps a smartphone clip does not have — and they are immediately visible in the finished video.

Case Study

bundesheer eurofighter cockpit — recruiting in 360°.

The Austrian Bundesheer wanted a 360 video from the Eurofighter cockpit for its recruiting campaign aimed at young pilots. The background: many applicants struggle with the idea of "how cramped is it" and "how confusing". The 360 video was meant to remove that hurdle — before the application process even starts.

The production was demanding: the cockpit is tight, camera size critical, and the shot had to happen during an actual flight. We worked with a compact 360° rig that could be stowed in the seat area, agreed on all shots with the pilot in advance, and carefully post-processed the captures (safety-critical displays were retouched, the pilot's name made illegible).

Since its release the finished video has been running in the recruiting pipeline, on YouTube, in VR headsets at school talks, and in the Spatial Player Pro for Vision Pro demos. The Bundesheer reports measurably higher applicant numbers for Eurofighter training since the launch.

Frequently asked

short and honest.

What is a 360 video?

A 360 video is a film in which you can look in any direction — up, down, left, right. The flow is fixed like in a normal video, but you decide where to look. Playable in the browser, on YouTube and with a VR headset.

What is the difference to a virtual tour?

A virtual tour is interactive — you click from room to room and control the flow. A 360 video is a film — the flow is fixed, but you can look in every direction. Tours are well suited for visits, 360 videos for storytelling.

For which industries does a 360 video make sense?

Industry (showing production processes), recruiting (making the workplace tangible), events (concerts, festivals), tourism (destinations), culture (exhibitions, performances), military and safety (training). Anywhere motion and immersion matter.

What does a 360 video cost?

Every project has a different scope — a simple production is a different scale than an elaborate project with multiple shoot days, spatial audio and special equipment. We are happy to discuss this personally and send you a non-binding quote within 48 hours.

How long does production take?

Depending on complexity 2-4 weeks: preparation and concept (3-5 days), on-site shoot (1-3 days), post-production and editing (5-10 days). Particularly elaborate projects can take longer.

What resolution do your 360 videos have?

We produce by default in 5.7K to 8K resolution — depending on camera and use case. That ensures sharp details even when the viewer looks closely into a specific area.

Can I embed the video on YouTube or my website?

Yes. 360 videos can be embedded on YouTube, Vimeo and directly on your website. YouTube supports 360 natively — the viewer can look in any direction right inside the player.

Does it also work with a VR headset?

Yes. 360 videos are the perfect format for VR headsets — from a simple Cardboard to Meta Quest or Apple Vision Pro. The experience becomes especially immersive.

Do I need a script or concept?

A rough concept helps but is not a prerequisite. We are happy to develop the idea, flow and storytelling together with you. For industrial documentation, a briefing about the process we should show is often enough.

Can I include narrators, music or subtitles?

Yes. We produce 360 videos with professional spatial audio, and can add narrators, music and subtitles. Spatial audio means: sound comes from the direction it should come from — when the viewer turns their head, the sound turns with them.

How large is the team on the shoot?

Depending on the project 2-4 people: camera operator, director, lighting and sound if needed. With 360 the camera shoots everything — the team has to hide during the take. That requires good planning.

Do you have experience with sensitive environments?

Yes. We have shot for the Bundesheer in the Eurofighter cockpit, for AT&S in cleanroom production, and for LKH Graz. We know the requirements for safety, confidentiality and hygiene.

Do you also shoot outside of Graz?

Yes. We produce throughout Austria and on request internationally. Travel is billed transparently based on actual cost.
