from the outside, the catalyst is a grey cube. what makes it work — the honeycomb structure inside, the channel geometry, the coating — shows up in no product photo. that was the job: present the precious metal catalysts range (vividox and aeroclear) so a customer understands at a glance why it works.

we rebuilt the honeycomb structure as a 3D model and used renderings, cutaway views and graphics to explain what the photo hides. 3D visualisation, illustration and layout from one source — graphics and illustrations together with our partner Peter Michael Schaffer.

and all of it from first idea to printed brochure. one contact, one finished product. the same catalysts can also be experienced at the molecular level in VR — and for shipping the bricks we visualised the packaging design of the shipping crate.
