Shape Obstacles — close to 200 elements for the catalogue

Shape Obstacles designs and builds wakeboard elements for wakeboard parks: kickers, pipes, rails, fun-boxes and pro-model obstacles. For the new catalogue, PMC GmbH needed the full product line as 3D visualisations.

We built and rendered close to 200 obstacles as 3D models — from Diamond Kicker and Steel Wedge through Funstairway and X-Pipe to the pro-model series (Joe Battleday, Elena, Jules Charraud, Max van Helvoort). On top of that, the products were carried over into an interactive Product Viewer that runs directly in the browser.

3D instead of a photoshoot: consistent quality across the entire range, without the logistical effort of physically photographing close to 200 obstacles.

On top of that, flexibility in the rendering: the same 3D model shown in a clean studio look, against a snowy winter background, or as an axonometric exploded drawing for assembly. One model, many visual worlds — without a new shoot.
